Here are a few pictures from my second shoot of another forest for the ancient wood project.

This would wood is located in Surrey and is under threat from oil drilling. Some of the local community have formed an activist group to try and stop this destruction of the wood.

I will be visiting the area again to make a serious of portraits and interviews of some of the people who are involved in this group and those who use the forest for example walking.

Some inspiring images Neil, I love to see the detail on tree bark.. Just to let you know that the deadline for objections to these plans has been put back again, and is now the 9th September 2009. It's not too late to register yor opposition!

Many thanks for your message, much appreciated! I am planning to go back to Bury Hill wood soon and make portrait pictures of those involved with the case. Thanks for the info regarding case as well.
